Autumn Canopy

Vertical nadir aerial photograph taken by drone over an Italian highland. A large open meadow in ochre-gold occupies the centre, enclosed by dense deciduous and coniferous forest in peak autumn colour: brick red, copper, rust, burnt orange, deep green. Two unpaved tracks are visible in the lower left. Soft, low-angle autumn light. No hard shadows.
